THE
HONEY HOUSE (CASA DEL MIELE)
LOCATON:
Welcome
to The Honey House. Located near to both Venice Airport
and the Casinò, at Ca’ Noghera. It is also
just 15 minutes drive from central Venice.
The Honey House has a spacious garden and invites its
visitors to sample different honey products in a setting
typical of the Veneto plain. To get to central Venice:
A 15-minute busride takes you from The Honey House
Bed and Breakfast to the road terminal of Piazzale
Roma. From here you can get around Venice on foot or by
waterbus (“vaporetto”). St Mark’s Square
can be reached directly by waterbus.
The Airport is only 2 minutes away from The Honey House.
To get from St Mark’s Square from the Airport costs
10 euros (single) and takes approximately 1 hour by boat.
The
Honey House is an ideal base to visit other ‘art’
cities such as Treviso (20km) Padua (30km). If you’re
looking for sunny beaches, head for Jesolo (30km) while
to find culture, visit the nearby Roman archelogical site
of Altino (3km), the town from where, in 5th century AD,
barbarian invaders caused the inhabitants to flee to the
marshy lagoon, where they founded Venice.
GETTING
HERE:
By car: from Marco Polo Airport take the SS 14 “Triestina”
road towards Ca' Noghera (or “Casinò”.
After 2 km, look for the road sign “Bed & Breakfast”
and on the right you’ll see the yellow building
of the B&B.
By public transport from Marco Polo Airport: take bus
number 15 towards the Ca' Noghera or Casinò. After
about 20 minutes, get off at the stop before the terminus
(“capolinea”). On the right, you’ll
see a yellow building of the B&B.
From the train station:
- The easiest train station to find us from is Mestre.

- From Venice Station: (10 minutes from Mestre), take
bus number 5 to Marco Polo Airport, then change and take
the number 15. After about 5minutes, get off at the stop

DESCRIPTION
OF THE ROOMS:
The spacious room is decorated in country/romantic/classic
style and offers every comfort: en-suite bathroom with
shower, air conditioning, telephone and internet connection,
satellite TV, minibar, room safe and tea-/coffee-making
facilities. It’s tasteful décor provides
a welcoming atmosphere and can sleep up to three.
In the morning guests enjoy an full buffet breakfast near
the fireplace, or outside in the garden.
Another two double en-suite rooms are available, each
with the possibility of adding a third bed if required.
